* Feels Just Like the First Time
At night when you’re lying on your bed, do you ever replay the day over in your head? Or rather, do you repeat that specific moment, that memory that made you laugh, cry, or even angry?
I do. I guess it is part of the psychologist/deep thinker/over analyzer – whatever you want to call it – in me.
What I want to know is: do you ever think about how you reacted then at that specific moment and possibly how you would react now if the opportunity ever presented itself again? For explanations sake (unrelated to personal experiences, but for proving the point), think about how you treated the “uncool” girl in grade nine. Imagine how you would respond now if you ever bumped into her on the subway.
Not the same, eh? Though sometimes I admit I still act like I am in grade nine. But on the serious note, I guess I always had a preconception of how things would turn out. I could just envision how the act would play out in my head, from the feelings I would experience, the facial expression and body language/position, to the very last detail of the exact words and phrases. But now, it just seems so unusual. Maybe it’s because of how I’ve changed within the last few years? Maybe school in Hamilton’s molded me to adopt a different mentality?
I’m not sure, but I think I am going to throw my preconceptions out the window.

Well, maybe it's because we look so alike! Kidding! We've established that we don't look anything like each other!
P.s. We're equally cool. In our own quirky ways! LOL :P
Oh, you just wait until I develop the film from my cheesy "Crest White Strips" disposable camera!
